Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize stable operation at small current consumption and without output fluctuations, by controlling the accumulated charge of capacitor according to the photo reception output, and lighting and driving the light emitting device with this capacitor output. CONSTITUTION:Through a transistor Tr of which base is set to ON periodically by the pulse signal from a pulse lighting circuit 8, a light emitting device 1 is lit in pulses at a specified period. The light of the light emitting device 1 transmits through the smoke and is detected by a photo detector 2 to be sent into an amplifier 3 and a level judging circuit 4. If it is less than the set threshold value, an alarm circuit 5 is operated. The output of the amplifier 3 is integrated for a long period in an integrator 6. The voltage inversely proportional to the output voltage of the integrator 6 outputted from an inverting type direct-current amplifier 7 is gradually charged in a capacitor C through resistance R1 for time constant while Tr is in OFF state. When Tr is ON, the charge in the capacitor C is discharged through Tr and resistance R2 for current limitation, so that the device 1 is lit up in pulses.
