Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure the input impedance of facsimile transceiver, by two times voltage measurements and a simple calculation.
CONSTITUTION: The output frequency of the constant voltage sinusoidal wave generator 2 is set to the specified frequency, making the facsimile transceiver 1 into reception condition. With this condition, the voltage Vx between the connection terminals 101 and 102 is measured with the AC voltmeter 6. Next, the AC voltmeter 6 is connected to the connection terminals 103 and 102 and the output voltage Vo is measured. Thus, the input impedance Zx of the facsimile transceiver 1 can be obtained from Zx=Vx.Ro/(Vo-Vx).
