Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the fixation temperature easily and reliably by determining the impressing period of an AC power source in accordance with the stored content of an ROM, which is read out in accordance with the surface condition, to control the switching of a current control semiconductor element.
CONSTITUTION: The detected output, which is generated by a temperature detecting circuit 10 and a humidity detecting circuit 11 connected with a thermistor 10' and a humidity detector and which correspond to the surrounding conditions such as the temperature or humidity, is fed through the output and input unit 7 of a controller 4 to a CPV. Then, the content of an ROM 5 is read out to determine the duty ratio of an AC power source 2 to be fed to an exothermic element 1. In accordance with the determined value, while using as a rise the zero detection of the power source 2, which is detected by a voltage detecting circuit 9 and a zero detecting circuit 8 without any noise, the trigger pulses of the width corresponding to the preset counting period of the counter of the CPV 6 are impressed through a device 4 and a gate trigger circuit 12 upon a current control semiconductor element 3 such as a triac so that a desired current is fed to the exothermic element 1. Thus, a feed-back circuit can be dispensed with.
