Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce overshoot which is apt to occur at the time of a high voltage and to prevent the fault of fixing which easily occurs at the time of a low voltage by altering the duty ratio of an effective power which is supplied to an electric heating unit according to the supply voltage in a device whose allowance maximum voltage is twice as high as allowance minimum voltage or above. CONSTITUTION:A supply voltage detection circuit 2 is connected to an AC input power source 1 and detects the supply voltage so as to input in a CPU 3. The electric heating unit 5 is connected to the AC input power source 1 and also connected to a heater control circuit 4 which turns on/off the heating unit 5. The average calorific value of the heating unit 5 is adjusted by altering the duty ratio of the effective power which is supplied to the heating unit 5 according to the supply voltage at the time of using the device. Namely, the heating of the heating unit 5 is controlled in terms of time in the CPU 3 by using the heater control circuit 4 based on the supply voltage detection circuit 2. Thus, the overshoot which easily occurs at the time of the high voltage can be reduced and the fault of fixing which is apt to occur at the time of the low voltage can be prevented.
