Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the level of radioactivety of a pulverizing treating device and to heighten the safety, by means of drying and pulverizing by a centrifugal film dryer after the removeal of the clad from the radioactive waste.
CONSTITUTION: Regenerated wastes in takes 1, 2 and 3 and sludge and spent ion exchange resin slurry are sent to separating tanks 33, 34 and 35. The regenerated waste is sent to a mixing tank 43 after precipitating and separating the clad in the separating tank 33. The sludge is sent to the mixing tank after being applied by an ultrasonic wave in the separating tank 34, and after being removed the clad via an electromagnetic filter 42. The spent ion exchange resin slurry is sent to the mixing tank 43 after precipitating and separating the clad by means of being stirred by being applied the ultrasonic wave within the separating tank 35. The mixture mixed in the mixing tank 43 is dried and pluverized by a centrifugal film dryer 10, and is pelletized by a pellt moulder 30 by means of being mixed with a burned ash from a hopper 31, and is solidified by asphalt.
