PURPOSE: To smoothly control electric rolling stocks, by memorizing observation characteristics corresponding to the conditions of a track to an electronic computer by beforehand making an electric rolling stock travel by an operator, and by comparing characteristics at each point of time with values memroized in the computer by measuring the characteristics at each point of time when actually making the rolling stocks travel.
CONSTITUTION: A receiver 11 and a transmitter 13 for transferring signals are mounted between a rolling stock 31 and a computer 12. When distance S and velocity V are measured by means of a measuring instrument 42 in the rolling stock 31 at some time tn and transmitted by means of a transmitter-receiver 41, the terrestrial receiver 11 receives the signals, and transmits them to a computing means 24 in the computer 12. A computing means 24 extracts distance S and velocity V at the time tn, and a reading-out means 22 receives distance Sn and velocity Vn at the time tn read out from a target value table 21 and applies the deviation to a computing means 25. The computing means multiplies a correction coefficient decided by the characteristics peculiar to the rolling stock and gives the result to a computing means 26, and speed control signals are transmitted to the rolling stock from the transmitter 13.
