Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Title compound of formula I [R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is -(CH2)m- whee m is 3 - 10 and these alkylenes may be substituted with lower alkyl and/or phenyl), lower alkyl may be substituted with lower alkyl; n is 1-3].
EXAMPLE: 5-(Dimethylvinylsilyl)-pentylamine.

PREPARATION: For example, polymethylenedihalide of formula II (X is halogen; m is 4 - 10) is converted to bis-Grignard reagent, which is reacted first with chlorosilane of formula III and then with carbon dioxide to form a carboxylic acid of formula IV. Then thionyl chloride is made to act on the compound of formula IV to form a compound of formula V, which is subjected to the reaction with ammonia and subsequent reduction by means of a reducing agent to produce the objective compound of formula I including formula VII.
