Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase density of needle electrode and obviate the occurrence of uneven densities by parallel stacking plural multi-needle electrode bodies and disposing the positions of the needle electrodes with a deviation of each specified pitch in their array direction. CONSTITUTION:A multiplicity of needle electrodes 4 are disposed in linear array form with a pitch (p) and the multi-needle electrode bodies 3 disposed with auxiliary electrodes 5 are stacked in a plurality in their subscanning direction on both sides of these needle electrodes 4. These are so constituted that the needle electrodes 4 of the pitch (p) are deviated by each 1/number (p) respectively in the main scanning direction. Hence, stacking of a multiplicity of the multi-needle electrode bodies enables needle electrode density to be taken extremely high. In addition, the provision of the auxiliary electrodes between the needle electrodes of the respective rows makes the electric fields formed in the respective rows become the same, thus enabling resolving power to be increased without causing uneven densities.
