PURPOSE:To improve color separation even when heating temperature of each layer is somewhat varied, and to enable formation of each color image having stable tone and density, by developing laminated plural specified heat sensitive layers to different colors in different temperature both from each other. CONSTITUTION:On substrate 4, heat sensitive layers 5, 6, and 7 are laminated consisting mainly of heat coloring agents 1, 1' and 1'' coloring in different temperature to different colors both from each other and of color developing agents 2 forming dyes together with these. At that time, coloring temperatures are selected highest in agent 1, middle in agent 1', and lowest in agent 1''. Color developing agents 3 and 3' covered with fusible materials having each fusion temperature corresponding to each agent 1 or 1' present in layer 5 and 6 are used for color developing agents 2 in layer 5 and 6.
