Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent characteristics with a simple circuit constitution by using the characteristic impedance circuit formed by combining the specified strip line with the resistor for the inter-step filter of the amplifier which is used for the high frequency band the concentrated constant circuit cannot process. CONSTITUTION:Capacitor C2 of a serial arm functioning as the pi-type circuit is connected between input terminal 7 and output terminal 8, and resistor R2 and R3 equal to the characterisitc impedance are provided between terminal 7, 8 and the earth, along with strip line 3 and 5 featuring the lenght of (2n + 1) /4 (n:positive integer) times as long as the wavelength of the given central frequency, plus serial circuit 4 and 6. And the impedance at the central frequency to which the value of capacitor C2 functioning as the serial arm is applied is selected to such value that it can be ignored in comparison with the characteristic impedance of the input/output side. Thus, the inter-step filter can be formed for the amplifier which can be used for the high frequency band.
