Abstract
1,064,156. Transistor amplifying circuits. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. Jan. 28, 1966 [Feb. 2, 1965], No. 3927/66. Heading H3T. A transmission network exhibiting a narrow "stop" band comprises a transistor in common emitter connection, having impedances which are equal in magnitude and phase angle at the rejection frequency connected respectively in the emitter circuit and between collector and base. As shown, a parallel RC network 4, 5 is connected in the emitter circuit and a series RC network 2, 3 between collector and base. The response may be sharpened by using resonant circuits, i.e. a parallel resonant network may be connected in the emitter circuit (Fig. 3, not shown) and in addition a series resonant circuit between collector and base (Fig. 4, not shown). A number of networks may be connected in parallel so as to obtain more than one "stop " band.
