Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove the surface oxidized film and at the same time, to continuously manufacture non-oxidized solder powder protected by flux, by atomizing mixed gas of rosin or rosin group flux immediately after producing solder powder. CONSTITUTION:The molten solder 9 is dropped from the nozzle 1 opening the flow regulation stopper 10 of the crucible 7 and air is jetted from the atomizing nozzle 2. Powdered solder powder flow 11 is passed through the rosin or rosin group flux powder flow 12 jetted from the jetting nozzle 3 in misty state. At this time, particle of solder powder is collided with that of the flux and is coated by the flux paticle and at the same time, the surface oxidized film is reduced. The coated powder flow 13 is taken out from the opening 16 of the collecting drum 4 attached the vibrator 15 and the above powder is accumulated at the bottom of the collecting box 5. Air supplied from the pressure air supply hole 17, is discharged from the exhausting apparatus 6. The above solder powder is used without adding new flux.
