Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate this device in the condition of the multipurpose air-conditioning of air-cooling, dehumidification and heating by the arrangement of a simple refrigerating circuit, by using one autometic expansion valve for controlling the degree of superheat both as air cooling and dehumidification, and by further adding a four-pass change-over valve.
CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit (a) is arranged by successively piping connecting a compressor 1, a four-pass change-over valve 22, an outdoor coil 2 and a temp system expansion valve 3 for heating while an indoor unit (b) is constituted by mounting 1st and 2nd infoor coils 4, 5, a temp system expansion valve 7 for air cooling and dehumidification and a heat exchanger 10. An upper chamber of a bellows 14 of said expansion valve 7 is formed as a pressure chamber 17 for transmitting the pressure of refrigerant in a temp sensing cylinder 8, a control element, while the degree of the superheat of the expansion valve 3 can be adjusted high and low by interlocking the degree of superheat with the change-over operation of air cooling and dehumidification by turning an electric heater 9 ON-OFF, thus ensuring air cooling an dehumidification. Meanwhile, heating can be operated by changing over the four-pass change-over valve 22.
