Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve operating efficiency, in a system in which cooling and heating are conducted by utilizing cold water and warm water from a water-cooling-and- warming device, by controlling operation of the water-cooling-and-warming device in accordance with room air temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Fan coil units 1W1" which are arranged in rooms are connected to a water-cooling-and-warming device 2 through a circulation pump 3 and a pipeline 4. A cold-water thermostat 6, which is operated by instructions of a temperature adjuster 5 for detection of air temperature in each room and whose set values are to be changed, is installed on discharge side of the pump 3 of the pipeline 4 of this air- conditioning system. By doing so, in such a case as decrease in load at the time of cooling operation, the operation is conducted in such a manner as to raise set value of the cold-water thermostat in accordance with instructions of the temperature adjuster 5, so that the chiller unit 2 becomes operated at a highly set temperature.
