Abstract

1294456 Swimming baths. WITTE HAUSTECHNIK GmbH 3 Dec 1969 [3 Dec 1968] 58954/69 Heading A4N [Also in Division F4] An indoor swimming pool installation comprises a swimming basin heating system and an air conditioning heat pump. The heat pump includes a compressor, an evaporator that dries and cools the air and a condenser that re-heats the air. Air circulating means are provided and fresh air may be mixed with the de-humidified air before re-heating. The air is passed directly over the evaporator or compressor or over water flow heat exchangers associated therewith. In the latter case the hot water circuit including the condenser and the associated heat exchanger may also act to heat radiators in the installation. The compressor is driven by an electric motor or i.c. engine. An electric heater may be provided to heat the air flow in event of heat pump breakdown. The swimming basin heating system may be operated on night electric current supply, and includes a pump, a valve and a filter.
