Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform pulling-down to subscriber circuits from a multicore fiber cable as a subscriber's line by the same means as the pulling-down method of telephone circuits by using the subscriber circuits connected with female side optical connectors one one side and terminal apparatus on the other. CONSTITUTION:A multicore optical fiber cable 1 as a subscriber's line is supported by both sides of a connection terminal box 8 and optical fiber cores 2 are spliced at the optical fiber cores 9 mounted to male side optical connectors 3, 3' and the splicing positions 7 within the box 8. On the other hand, the subscriber circuits 4, 4' are connected with female side optical connectors 6, 6' on one side and subscriber side terminal apparatus 5, 5' on the other and the female side optical connectors 6, 6' are led in to the inside from the outside of the box 8 and are coupled to the male side optical connectors 3, 3', whereby pulling-down to the subscriber circuits may be readily accomplished and the workability improved.
