Abstract

PURPOSE:To superpose subsignals on the main signal band to transmit them effectively by regarding output signals of the discrimination circuit as modulation signals, transmitting the modulated signals regarded as the output of modulator, regenerating main signal pulses from received pulses in the receiving side and by demodulating subsignals. CONSTITUTION:Pulse width modulator 1 makes the pulse width of a main signal pulse consisting of rundom code sequence change by a modulation signal and LPF 3 selects low frequency component from a modulated signal regarted as the output of modulator 1. Then, the arrangement of the selected component with the output of LPF 3 is made and dicrimination circuit 3 outputs the signal shown by alpha value according to the difference of level between supervisory signals and the subsignal; by regarding the output signal as a modulation signal, the modulated signal regarded as the output of modulator 1 is transmitted, In the receiving side, a main signal pulse is regenerated from the received signal and the subsignal is demodulated. As the result, subsignals are superposed in the main signal region by simple constitution and can be transmitted effectively.
