Abstract
PURPOSE: To cause wheels to quickly adhere again, by quickly reducing the tensile force when the speed rises due to slipping.
CONSTITUTION: The compound-wound motor comprises an armature 3, a series- wound field coil 4 and a sepqrately-excited field winding 5. A main resistor of a series-wound coil circuit and a chopper 11 of a separately exciting circuit are controlled. The value detected by an armature current detector 13 is applied to a pattern circuit 18. The value detected by a separately-excited field coil current detector 14 is applied to an adder 16. The angle of turn-on of the chopper 11 is controlled by the output of a phase shifter 17. The characteristics of the pattern circuit 18 are so set that the separately-excited field winding current increases greatly when the armature current is low and that the separately-excited field winding current is constant when the armature current is high.
