Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the aubject process comprising the steps of adjusting the pH of trivalent chrome ions and the like in high temperature cooling water, which have lost anti-corrosive properties, reproducing said ions and the like in hexavalent chrome by ozone oxidation, producing ozone dissolved water at a low temperature to carry out slime exfoliationg thereby to increas the circulation ratio of the cooling water system and reduce exhaust water. CONSTITUTION:Circulative water from a cooling water tank 7 is introduced through a valve 9, and a pipeline 10 into an ozone reaction absorption tower 2, and trivalent chrome ions and chrome hydride ions are reproduced into hexavalent chrome by ozone oxidation, and returned back to a cooling tower or a cooling water tank 7 through a pipeline 12, a valve 13 and a pipeline 17. Then, said ions are introduced through a pipeline 18 into a heat exchanging part 4. Simultaneously or alternately therewith, circulative water in which dissolved ozone has increased in the ozone reaction absorption tower 2 is sent through the pipeline 12 and the valve 13 to the heat exchanging part 4 where slime exfoliation is carried out by dissolved ozone. By this procedure, an anti-corrosive agent can be reproduced without taking out of the system, and hence the quantity of pouring chromate is reduced and the circulation ratio is improved.
