Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The slit light 5, diverging in the traveling direction of the torch 3, is irradiated from the light source 4 at a specified angle upon the position in the flat sheet 1 a specified distance forward from the welding torch 3. The image sensor 6, fixed to the torch 3 by the support rod 7, scans the reflected image of the slit light 5 parallelly to the diverging direction of the slit light 5.
