Abstract
PURPOSE:To assure the stable operation, by reducing the effect of noise, through the detection of current balance passing through the output terminal and detecting the failure at the load side when the current balance is unbalanced, in the failure detection circuit at the load side of the driving circuit used for communication sets or electronic computers. CONSTITUTION:The load failure detection circuit 5 is provided between the driving circuit 1 for communication units or electronic computers and the load 4. The pulse transformer T having two primary windings N1 and N2 is provided with the detection circuit 5, and connection is made that the output current of the driving circuit 1 passes through respective windings N1 and N2. Further, when the current flowing out from the output terminal is equal to that flowing in, the constitution is made that the magnetic flux of the transformer can be cancelld. The secondary windings N3 and N4 of the transformer T are connected to diodes D1 and D2, the voltage rectified with the diodes D1 and D2 is fed to the constant voltage diode D3 and the resistor R, and output is made when a failure is taken place at the load side.
