Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain accurate and rapid search operation through low-speed search with the voltage variation rate of a tuning voltage decreased when a TV receiver outputs AFT detected waves. CONSTITUTION:After a detection output and vertical synchronizing signal are outputted from AFT circuit 4 and synchronizing separation circuit 6 respectively, R-SFF19 of start-stop circuit 9 is set and gate 20 is closed by its output to cut off the high-speed clock pulse of generator 16; at the same time, gate 26 is opened to supply the low-speed clock pulse of generator 27 to counter 22 of tuning-voltage generating circuit 10 via gates 21 and 15 and the voltage variation rate of the tuning voltage from D/A converter 23 is reduced to half. Afterward, search operation is done at a low speed.
