Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent reduction of the output of a motor if it may be commutated in a high frequency by providing an electric valve closing its path every commutation of an inverter between the terminals at the dc line side of a diode bridge.
CONSTITUTION: When electric valves 2 and 3 are put in on-condition and thyristors S1 and S2 of thyristor bridge 6 are put in conductive condition, a signal for turning off the electric valves 2 and 3 at the time TO is issued and a signal for turning an elecrtic valve 11 on is issued to commutate the load the load current from load terminal U to W, and at the same time a signal for turning a thyristor 5 on is issued to short a reactor 4 wich the thyristor 5. In such the construction, the current flows on by the inductance component on the load, it further flows in opposition to that order of load theminal V-thyristor S6-rectifier 8-dc power source 1, further flowing to the direction reverse to that order of rectifier 9-thyristor 5 and finally flows through thyristor S1-load terminal U. This power circuit has the current flowing in such order as stated above
