Abstract
PURPOSE: To lengthen the lifetime of main circuit contacts of a reversible contactor and prevent the occurrence of a harmful surge voltage, by switching the main circuit contacts under deenergization.
CONSTITUTION: The discrimination output of a polarity discrimination circuit 10 for the output of a speed loop circuit 5 is applied to an operation discrimination circuit 13. When an off-delay timer circuit 11 is in timing operation, a forward rotation auxiliary contact 14F is closed and a reverse rotation auxiliary contact 14R is open. As a result, coincidence is not confirmed, the reverse rotation switch of a switch circuit 8 is opened and a current loop circuit 7 is locked up by a current loop lockup circuit 15. Therefore, the output of the circuit 7 becomes zero and the output voltage of a three-phase thyristor genuine bridge rectification circuit 1 also becomes zero. When the timer circuit 11 has finished the timing operation in that deenergization, a reversible contactor driving circuit 12 closes the reverse rotation main contact of a reversible contactor 2 and opens its forward rotation main contact. This results in lengthening the lifetime of the main circuit contacts and preventing the occurrence of a harmful surge voltage.
