Abstract

PURPOSE: To reproduce distinct dichromatic copies free from mixed colors by aligning and contacting a latent image holding carrier corresponding to black color and a latent image carrier corresponding to the black color of the opposite polarity therefrom and a specific color, and neutralize the charges corresponding to the black color thereby leaving only the charges corresponding to the specific color.
CONSTITUTION: Reflected light from a dichromatic original 3 having white part 3a, red part 3b and black part 3c is radiated via red filter 6 to a photoreceptor 1 having been charged to-polarity and-charges are left only in the region corresponding to the black part 3c. Next, the reflected light from the original 3 is radiated via cyan color filter 9 to the second photoreceptor 7 having been charged to +, leaving + charges in the regions corresponding to the red and black color parts.
