Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The moisture at the surface layer part of the raw material is detected with the detecting end 11a1 at the intermediate part of the charging conveyor 3 of the sintering apparatus and the moisture at the surface layer part of the raw material at which the C segregation has occurred on the pallet 7 is detected with the detecting end 11a2 at the intermediate part between the drum feeder 6 and the firing furnace 10. By inputting these detected values to the computer and controller 12, the degree of segregation of the C content is calculated.
