Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an analog switch circuit featuring the reduced amount of distortion generated to the input signal by inserting the limiter circuit via the voltage limit resistance to the switch element which controls the conduction between the input and output with the voltage oriduced between the input terminal and the control terminal. CONSTITUTION:Input signal voltage source 1 is connected to load RL3 via resistance RS8 plus the switching element comprising FET transistor Tr2. And the limiter circuit consisting of diodes 4 and 5 plus bias power sources 6 and 7 is connected between source S and the earth of Tr2 to form an analog switch circuit. RS8 is the voltage limit resistance which functions to lower the signal voltage between source S and the earth when Tr2 is switched on by the control voltage of gate G. Both the limit voltage of the limiter circuit and the value of RS8 are selected so that the fixed formula may be satisfied between the pinch-off voltage between S and G of Tr2 and the voltage source 1. As a result, the switching action can be secured completely, and at the same time the distortion can be minimized to the input signal.
