Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is available for the use in a high-frequency band regardless of input electrostatic capacity by connecting an amplifier with input impedance, resonating with the input floating capacity at a working signal frequency, to a photo detector. CONSTITUTION:Photo detector 14 with provided photo diode 12 which converts photo signal 11 modulated into an electric signal and amplifier 18 which amplifies the electric signal converted by the detector 14 are both provided. Then, amplifier 18 of this constitution is equipped with inducing element 19 of inductance L resonatting with input floating capacity C at a working signal frequency and amplifier 15 with flat amplification frequency characteristics. Further, equivalent circuit 19 which compensates frequency characteristics is connected to the output side of amplifier 18 as occasion demands. Then, the input impedance of amplifier 18 is made by setting to resonate nearly at the center frequency of the electric signal detected by detector 14 against the electrostatic capacity of detector 14, thereby constituting a photo receiver which can be used in a high frequency band.
