Abstract
PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device by converting spectral sensitivity characteristics of a photodiode into random spectral sensitivity characteristics by using characteristics of a modulating circuit and electric filter. CONSTITUTION:Spectral sensitivity characteristics (1), of output (u) of amplifier 1 that amplifies the output of photodiode PD0 are amplitude-modulated by modulating circuit 2 at output frequency (f) of voltage-frequency converting circuit 7 to obtain u'. Therefore, when electric filter 3 has frequency (f)/relative-output characteristics (2), output u0 of electric filter 3 has spectral sensitivity characteristics (3) through conversion. Namely, spectral sensitivity characteristics (1) of photodiode PD0 can be converted into required spectral sensitivity characteristics (3) by characteristics of modulating circuit 2 and electric filter 3, and consequently there is no need to replace the optical filter, so that the device can be miniaturized and reduced in cost.
