Abstract
PURPOSE: To accumulate solar heat or the like and economize energy, by providing a pumping-up heat pump cycle including an accumulation vessel between a solar heat absorbing water cycle and a room-heating heat pump cycle.
CONSTITUTION: When the sun is shining and the outdoor temperature is high, a pump 19 is driven to cause water or the like to flow in the direction of the arrow 22. The solar heat is absorbed by the water or the like in a collector 16 and transferred to the pumping-up heat pump cycle through a water and coolant heat exchanger 18. A compressor 1 of the pumping-up heat pump cycle is driven so that heat is transferred to a heat exchanger 7 located in the accumulation vessel 6 through a four-way valve 3. The heat is then transferred from a coolant to a heat accumulating substance 27. A collant is evaporated by an expander 10 to absorb heat from an outside heat exchanger. To heat a room by a heat exchanger 5, a compressor 2 is driven, heat is absorbed from the heat accumulation vessel 6 by a heat exchanger 8 and a fan 13 is driven. When the terms of electric power are desirable, the heat accumulation vessel 6 is heated by a heater 21.
