Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a useless operation of an auxiliary boiler while utilizing solar heat effectively by a method wherein the operation of the auxiliary boiler is stopped during a predetermined period of time when a temperature of water in a heat accumulating tank is higher than a predetermined temperature upon starting of a warm water pump.
CONSTITUTION: Solar heat is absorbed into a collector 1 and is accumulated in a heat accumulating tank 2. Upon room cooling, warm water is circulated through a circuit consisting of the heat accumulating tank 2, an auxiliary boiler 3, a three-way valve 9A, a Rankine engine 4 and a pump 8B by the pump 8B. Upon room heating, the warm water is circulated in a circuit consisting of the heat accumulating tank 2, the auxiliary boiler 3, three-way valves 9B, 9A, an indoor side fan coil unit 7, a three-way valve 9C and the warm water pump 8B. Upon starting, when a temperature of water in the heat accumulating tank 2 is higher than a predetermined temperature, an operation of the auxiliary boiler 3 is stopped during a predetermined period of time by a timer (not shown), thereby, the useless operation of the auxiliary boiler 3 may be eliminated.
