Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an apparatus and to simplify the same by using a multiplex head system in a VTR. CONSTITUTION:A recording tape 2 is turned at a constant speed in the direction of arrow A, and multi-recording heads 51, 52, 61 and 62 are turned at a constant speed in the direction of arrow B so that the tape 2 has its tracks 7 and 8 recorded with audio signals and synchronous signals and its center portion formed with video signal tracks a to d. In an image pick-up device of this instance, the image of an object is forcused through a lens 11 and splitters 12 and 15 upon two-dimentional CCDs 16 and 17 so tha the signals from the respective CCDs are fed through a preset processing to a recording system 21 and recorded in a medium 22. Upon the reproduction, the output signals of the medium 22 are processed through a reproducing system 23 at 24 and are reproduced as TV signals.
