Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of the intermittent feeding of tape by generating the pulses of the period following up the movement of a tape and recording these pulses in the tape with a recording head disposed on the upper stream side than a CTL signal reproduction head.
CONSTITUTION: Since an FG 11 which detects the revolutions of a capstan 4 is provided, the pulses having the period corresonding to the movement quantity of a tape 1 are obtainable from the FG 11 and these are recorded as CTL signals in the CTL track of the tape 1 by a recording head 12. The CTL signals are reproduced with a playback head 7 and are divided down to 1/n by a counter 14. This turns out that ON-OFF controlling of a pinch roller 8 is accomplished based on the output of the counter 14, thus the tape 1 is intermittently run at each n frame. Hence, if the video signals having been synchronized to the CTL signals are supplied to the rotary heads A, B and are recorded in the tape 1, the images faster by n times may be obtained when this tape is reproduced ordinarily.
