Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus in which the calorific consumption and the rise of temperature of sucked-air temperature are little by arranging in parallel a number of capturing plates which are wound in a cross section and of which surface temperature is controlled within a specific range, at the upper stream part of a demister and forming an intake air flow passages.
CONSTITUTION: A number of capturing plates 21 which are wound in a cross section and of which surface temperature is adjusted to 20W30°C are arranged in parallel at the upper stream side of a demister 5, and a number of intake air passages 23 are formed between plates 21. In other cases, further on the surface of said capturing plate 21, a drain catcher 30 is protruded which crosses to the direction of intake air flow. In order to heat the capturing plate 21, a necessary number of thermal medium flowing holes are drilled on the cross section of the plate 21, and in said holes, steam or hot water is allowed to flow. Thus, on the surface of the plate 21, water thin membrane is formed due to the melting of ice and snow, and ice and snow contained in intake air is certainly adhered and melted due to the absorption action of said thin film and can be perfectly removed.
