Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an erroneous operation of a temperature control device due to disturbance noise by setting a heat sensitive thyristor at the same potential as one terminal of an AC power supply and triggering always in next positive half-cycle when a triode AC switch triggers in negative half-cycle.
CONSTITUTION: Since a heat sensitive thyristor 4 is OFF during negative half-cycle of an AC power supply 1 when the temperature of an article to be heated is lower than predetermined temperature, the phase of the power voltage is lead. When the voltage is raised higher than the zener voltage of a zener diode 5, a current is flown through the gate of an auxiliary thyristor 6 via the power supply 1 - resistor 21 - zener diode 5 to cause the auxiliary thyristor to become ON. A gate current will flow through a triode AC switch 3 in a loop of the power supply 1 - heater 2 - the terminal T1 of triode AC switch 3 - resistor 15 - auxiliary thyristor 6 - AC power supply 1 to allow the triode AC switch 3 to become ON to thereby supply power to the heater 2.
