Abstract
PURPOSE: To elongate the operation hour of a battery accumulating the energy withdrawn on braking a rotatable driving machine and the energy from a power source in a flywheel and using said energy in acceleration.
CONSTITUTION: In high-speed running, a driving shaft 1 is connected with the propulsion shaft of a vehicle by a clutch 30, and a clutch plate 17 is released from a flywheel 5. The revolution of the driving shaft 1 is transmitted to a shaft 20 through a sum gear 14, planet gear 10, internal gear 19, planet gear 12, and a sun gear 13, and the flywheel 5 is revolved in the same direction as the driving shaft 1. The revolution energy of the propulsion shaft is absorbed and accumulated in the flywhell. When the clutch 30 is connected and frictional braking is applied on a gear box 15 in accelerating the vehicle, the force of revolution of the flywheel 5 drives the propulsion shaft of the vehicle, and smooth acceleration is made possible, and the life of a battery is eleongated.
