Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable stable load measurment to be performed without receiving temperature effect by communicating the respective chambers between measuring diaphragm and seal diaphragm through through-holes and drawing out the electrostatic capacity proportional to load and an always constant electrostatic capacity.
CONSTITUTION: When a load is applied to a centeral rigid body 1, a measuring diaphragm 2 displaces and the spacing between an electrode 3 and measuring diaphragm 2 changes and therefore the electrostatic capacity C2 between these changes. However, sealing liquid chambers 12, 6 and chamber 14 are communicated by through-holes 11, 10 and therefore the pressures in these chambers are absorbed by the displacement of the seal diaphragm 5 and the spacing between the electrode 13 and fixing plate 4 does not change, hence the electrostatic capacity C1 between these both members is constant and does not change. By drawing out the electrostatic capacity change value C2 proportional to the load and always constant electrostatic capacity value C1 through conductor 9, the magnitude of the load may be measured.
