Abstract

PURPOSE:To constitute an accurate detector through simple working by providing a variable mechanism for the volume of chambers to at least one of the chambers which are filled with noncompressive fluid and are separated by diaphragms. CONSTITUTION:Through-holes 2a, 2b are communicated from both end faces of a body 1 made of a metallic block. A diaphragm 4 bisecting chambers are provided at the center and electrostatic capacities are formed by the same and the stationary electrodes 5a-b supported on insulating materials 6a-b. Diaphragms 7a-b are provided on both end faces of the body 1 and are sealed. Volume adjusting mechanisms 9 are provided in the holes 2a-b. Noncompressive fluid 8, for example, silicone, is filled in both right and left chambers. While the results of the temp. test are being checked, the amounts of the fluid 8 in both right and left chambers are adjusted by moving diaphragms 13 in holes 11 by means of screws 14, whereby output fluctuations are made zero. The electrostatic capacitors between the diaphragm 4 and the 5a-5b are measured and pressure differences the detected. On the other hand, if the chambers are put under atmospheric pressure, the device acts as a pressure gage. Thereby, the accurate pressure gage is manufactured with ordinary working accuracy.
