Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to select the desired TV channel arbitrarily, by cutting off the UHF band AGC power supply fed to the UHF reception amplifier at VHF band reception and keeping the output side capacitance through the interruption of UHF reception signal.
CONSTITUTION: The main operation power supply is fed to the amplifying transistor Tr7 of the UHF reception amplifier 4 from the terminal 11 and the UHF AGC power supply from the terminal 12, and from the terminal 11 to Tr7, the main opertion voltage is always fed regardless of the reception band to keep the output side capacitance of Tr7. Further, at VHF band reception, the AGC power supply of UHF band fed to the amplifier 4 is cut off to interrupt the UHF reception signal. Thus, the constant nature of the output side capacitance of the amplifier 4 makes stable the tuning characteristics of the selector tuning circuits 9 and 10. As a result, the desired TV channel can arbitrarily be selected with the output of the tuner terminal controlling the power supply circuit.
