PURPOSE:To prevent the parasitic oscillation occurring at the UHF band for the VHF tuner using transistor Tr by inserting a capacitor featuring the value within a fixed range between the Tr emitter and the earth. CONSTITUTION:The reception signal of the VHF band is supplied to the emitter of Tr13 from tuner input circuit 12 through terminal 10 and then IF filter circuit 11. The AGC signal is supplied to the base of Tr13, and power source B is supplied to the collector each. Capacitor 14 is inserted between the emitter and the earth with the value between 3-10pF. Thus, the abnormal oscillation can be prevented at the UHF band, and no serious effect is given to the VSWR and NF characteristics of the tuner. Also, no deterioration is caused to the RF response gain. As a result, no parasitic oscillation can be prevented for the turret-type mechanical VHF tuner.
