Abstract
PURPOSE:To machine an impellor suitable for turbines for example and having distorted and tapered blades. CONSTITUTION:Surfaces 10a, 10b are provided on an electrode which surfaces 10a, 10b are capable of forming at a time the upper and lower surfaces 23a and lower surface 25b of unadjacent blades. Said electrode surfaces 10a, 10b are formed on the distorted curvature surfaces for machining said upper surface 23a and lower surface 25b of said distorted blades. A pair of electrolyte outflow preventing plates 17, 17 are attached on electrode body 1. Said electrode body 1 is fitted on the ram of a not- illustrated machine and linearly fed from the circumferential surface 21 toward the axial center of work 20. Thus, the whole circumference of said impellor undergoes electrolytic machining while shift is made per pitch in order.
