Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce the captioned screw which prevents the eccentricity and disengagement of a contact pellet by burying the protruding flight of the contact pellet having the ptoruding flight at the bottom surface of its outside circumference in the end part of the screw body then welding the contact pellet to the screw body.
CONSTITUTION: A contact pellet 2 provided with protruding flight 1 at the bottom surface of its outside circumference is placed at the center of the flat end face of a screw body 3, thence the protruding flight 1 of the pellet 2 is buried by a suitable pressing means such as press into the flat end face of the body 3 until a wedge form depression 4 is obtained. Thence, the pellet 2 is welded to the body 3 to obtain a screw contact 5. Since the screw contact 5 obtained in this way has been surely buried in the end face prior to welding, there is no eccentricity of the pellet 2 and body 3 at the welding and since they are firmly bonded by welding, the disengagement of the pellet 2 during the use does not occur at all.
