Abstract

PURPOSE: To control a solenoid valve and determine a flow rate of fuel proportional to that of air, by utilizing the differential pressure of a fuel measuring valve which is controlled by an intake air quantity detector.
CONSTITUTION: An air flow rate detector 20 is provided as an air flow rate measuring unit B in an intake pipe 1 of an internal combustion engine. A piston 21b slidably fitted in a cylinder 24 is coupled to the detector 20. Fuel is introduced from a fuel tank 14 to the top of the piston 21b through a pump 15. The pressure of the fuel determines the position of the piston 21b against a spring 31. Then, the fuel is supplied to a fuel injection valve through a passage 29 and a differential pressure valve 30. Other fuel is introduced to a piston bottom chamber 22 and the differential pressure chamber 30 through solenoid valves 32, 33, which are controlled by a controller E which receives a signal from a differential pressure converter D which detects the pressure at the front and rear of the detector 20.
