Abstract
PURPOSE:To establish the oscillation circuit which improves the frequency-temperature performance, by connecting the capacitor C of positive capacitance versus temperature performance to the input terminal of the inverter of the crystal oscillation circuit and C of negative performance to the output terminal. CONSTITUTION:In the capacitance-temperature performance of the input capacitor Cin 8 connected to the input terminal IN of the inverter 2 of the crystal oscillation circuit consisting of the crystal oscillator 1 and the amplifying inverter 2, Curie point c p as shown in Fig. a is present at high temperatures, and the temperature compensation capacitor having smaller secondary constant is used. Further, the output capacitor COUT 9 connected to the output terminal OUT has c p at low temperatures as shown in Fig. b and also, smaller secondary constant capacitor is used. Thus, the temperature compensation for the frequency at higher temperatures is made with COUT 9 and that for low temperatures is by Cin 8, and the frequency-temperature performance is almost flat from -20 to 60 deg.C. Further, the minimum operation voltage at low temperature region and the consumed current at high temperature region can also be improved.
