Abstract
PURPOSE: To widen the measuring range, by independently constituting only the collimator part or the container of the object being measured.
CONSTITUTION: A third lead shield 9 housing a collimator 7 inside is detachably fitted to a first lead shield 3. The object being measured is passed from an inlet flange 1 into a tube container 2 towards an outlet flange 4, and the radiation emitted from the radioactive substance contained in the object being measured is caused to enter a radiation detector 8 provided in a second lead shield 5 through the collimator 7 to be detected. Thus, by preparing a multiplicity of third lead shields 9 differing in the hole diameter or length of collimator 7, when they are replaced appropriately, a wide measuring range may be obtained. Meanwhile, a lead shield 10 housing tube containers 2 of various forms inside may be detachably fitted to the first lead shield 3.
