Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent useless X-ray exposure to objective and to make small the unit, by providing the X-ray detector on the package near the X-ray radiation window.
CONSTITUTION: At the vacuum package 5 of the X-ray unit installing the cathode 6 and the rotary type anode 7, the effective X-ray radiation window 8 and the X-ray detector fitting window 9 near the window 8, are placed in parallel with the focus orbit of the anode 7. Thus, the diameter of the window 8 is minimized to cover the objected body, allowing to prevent useless exposure. Further, the detector provided with the window 9 can detect the X-ray reference dose correctly and accordingly, the unit is made small in size. Moreover, by detecting the ring shaped detector around the window 8, the sensitivity of the detector and the accuracy can further be increased.
