Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an IC suitable for an electric washing machine by providing several power control elements and several amplification elements into the same semiconductor substrate and by driving a control elemenet by supplying a control signal to the corresponding amplification element.
CONSTITUTION: Five TRIACs 21 to 25, and NPN transistors 31 to 35 are formed in the same semiconductor substrate to constitute IC device 1. Then, 1st anodes 41 to 45 of respective TRIACs are connected to external connection terminals T1 to T5, and 2nd anode 51 to 55 are connected in parallel to external connection terminal T5. Collectors of respective teansistors are connected to gate electrode 61 to 65 of respective TRIACs, emitters are connected in parallel to external connection terminal T7, and bases are connected to external connection terminals T8 to T12 respectively. In this constitution, an AC voltage is applied between terminals 7 and 8, and pulsator motor 9, dryer motor 10, water-supply valve solenoid 11, drain valve solenoid 12, and buzzer 13 are connected to corresponding elements.
