Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a characteristic equivalent to the IF switching system without gerarating non-linear distortion in the direct shift relay system by frequency-converting a stand- by receiving deviation signal by a stand-by receiving deviation signal which passed through plural receiving deviation switching circuits. CONSTITUTION:In the line switching part of a transmission end, N-number transmission input signals are branched by N-number circuits, for example, 1, 6 and 11, and one output of circuits 1, 6 and 11 is switched to a stand-by line by a prescribed transmission control signal by using N-number transmission switching circuits 2, 7 and 12, and the other output of circuits 1, 6 and 11 is converted to transmission signals by N-number transmission frequency converter circfuits 3, 8, 13 and 16. Here, (N+1)- number or more stand-by receiving deviation signals for the receiving deviation frequency are generated according to N-number receiving control signals, and stand-by receiving signals are frequency-converted by the stand-by receiving deviation signal which passed through N-number reciving deviation switching circuits. As a result, the characteristic equivalent to the IF switching system can be realized without generating non-linear distortion in the direct shift relay system where IF does not exist at all.
