Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate restrictions of circuit constitution, by centralizing the parts requiring countermeasures against temperature in the event of accident in an explosion-proof circuit, and connecting them with the other parts by way of protective resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The circuit A side containing a detector 11 to detect the process quantity and generate signal voltage accordingly and a differential amplifier 13 of high gain is constituted with circuits without countermeasures against temperature, whereas the circuit B containing an output transistor 14, constant current circuit FET 15, and emitter follower circuit 16 is constituted with parts of which temperature may not be raised above the permissible value for safety in the event of accident, and the circuits A and B are connected together by way of protective resistances R9 to R11. The output of a transducer 1 is supplied into a safety barrier 5, and load 2 through a transmission line 4. Therefore, the power consumed on the circuit A side in the event of accident may be liminted, so that the countermeasure against temperauter may be centralized in the circuit B side alone.
