Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable separation of mud from dirty water and dehydration of mud, by partitioning the inside of a tank into a mud room and a dirty water room which is further partitioned into No.1 dirty water room and No.2 dirty water room, and by fitting a partition plate, a screen, a vibrator, a suction duct and drainage duct.

CONSTITUTION: A vacuum pump 20 reduces the pressure of a containing tank 1, and discharges mud and dirty water onto a screen 13 after sucking them through a suction duct 22. Dirty water passing through the screen 13 is introduced to a tilting part 10' of a upper part of a partition plate 10 and is contained in No.1 dirty water room. The mud on the screen 13 is dehydrated by the vibrating action, and the mud being slidably moved on the screen 13 is contained in a mud room 8. Water, which is produced in the case of dehydration, is contained in No.1 dirty water room 11. In No.1 dirty water room, solid particles are sedimentally separated by a natural sedimentation, and when dirty water is full, it is overflown to No.2 dirty water room 12, passing through a hole of the partition plate 10. Dirty water at a lower part containing lots of mud is discharged onto the screen 13 by pump 25, and particles are separated reliably.
